I uninstalled a GOG game 10 minutes ago knowing full well that with the compat bug I'd have to go back and rework everything, but all of a sudden when I click RB3D its asking me for a disc. When I click continue nothing happens. OY!

Now the -window thing isn't even working. It no longer ask for a disc but it doesn't start the game either. I'm beginning to think I got hosed buying this which hurts to say because I LOVE GOG and everything about it and everyone one it, but this thing is not worth the headache!

This question / problem has been solved by Wailwulfimage
Was this the multiplayer or single player.exe you clicked on? Neither should ask for a disk, but if it does there should be a cross in the top right hand corner which you can click 6 times and it will disappear and let you into the game.

Was it another GOG game that you uninstalled and screwed up RB3D? Is RB3D located in program files or outside of program files - if in program files, try running as administrator or move the game out of it.

What is your OS?

I got it working again. While I feel like a total asshole for having a temper tantrum and taking it into the forum it did piss me off. I kept telling myself that even if I got it going again I was going to 86 the game to avoid the pain of it. Of course as soon as I started playing again I thought, "Well, it wasn't that big of a headache." I wish I could cancel some of these threads after I post them.

With these kinds of issues, I can totally understand frustration! :)

What ended up being the solution?

I reinstalled the whole thing. I'm actually laughing my ass off now as I'm typing this.

Yup generally that'll do it for some of these types of issues! :)

That and turing the machine off and on again. :)
If you ever get the CD is Missing screen, click the upper right cross 6 times, and the game will run.
