A magazine article I dug up from the 1997 edition of the UK magazine PC Format, about ROTH.

Some highlights:
-Interview with Gremlin Interactive
-Timeline of the ROTH universe, starting from the creation of the Shrive
-Concept art of the characters (did you know that the ROTH concept art was all done anime-style?)

Image too big to be attached so link is below

AWESOME. I LUB YOU <3

Excellent. Great finding. And more points for using PNG. You don't come across ROTH articles everyday I guess :P
Great article, and very nice to see some concept art. The character pictures on page 5 are a bit..er...garish, were they designed for a sequel, Realms of the FABULOUS ?
A late thank you for this, dare I say, invaluable source of insightful background information!
A great find, that explains so much. There's only one thing that really puzzles me (maybe I have missed it in my first and only playthrough): what's the explanation behind the big, scary, skeletal throne deep in the catacombs, flanked by the two quotes from the Bible. I know it enables Adam to hold the Shrive later on, but whose throne is it, what is it doing there, and what kind of magic powers it?
I remember reading this article back in the day. I think I still have the magazine somewhere in my basement, packed along with other computer and gaming magazines. This was one of those games I really wanted to play but for some reason didn't get the chance to do so, until now, thanks to GOG.
Can someone reup the scans please?

I've mirrored them on the wiki I've started a while ago.
Just bought this game, and reading these scans is really taking me back. Not to the game itself, I'm from the US and had never heard of it when it came out, but seeing the breathless coverage and gorgeous screenshots reminds me of how much I drooled over similar reviews for games like Daggerfall.
