Cheers,

Thanks to some tools made by King Duke, I was able to make these maps for Realms of Chaos:

http://www.mediafire.com/?lg51uwluauwjvk2

I'll call this batch v0.91 since the last boss map and another map labeled 'LAVA1' don't render properly. They could also use a little more explanation (like which doorways lead where in the castle levels, which exit is for the secret level, which episode, level, and difficulty each map applies to, etc.).
I'd already tried a 100% playthrough but, like the game Secret Agent, it appears there are some mistakes and you can't reach certain gems or a statue. =/ Still, making these maps were something I've been wanting to do for a long time, so thanks again King Duke. To anyone else out there who still cares for these things, enjoy!

Edit:
v0.91 - Fixed a secret missing from one map
v0.92 - Fixed a problem with the map 'SECRET1'

Thank you very much for the maps SCPM.

Do you know how to reach the level called SECRET1? I've almost finished the game (on episode 3 level 8 now) and still haven't found the entrance. Can't figure it out by looking at the maps. Judging by the enemies in it, it's in episode 2, but I never found it.

Thanks.

I've gone through all the maps and through the cheat and debug modes, and I don't think that I ever found that level. It might have been a leftover from the beta version or something.
What about the secret level in the first post you mentioned?

"They could also use a little more explanation (like which doorways lead where in the castle levels, which exit is for the secret level, which episode, level, and difficulty each map applies to, etc.)."

I thought it meant that there is a secret level in the game and that you found the exit to it?

When I saw the map labeled "SECRET1" I had assumed there was some secret level that I missed. I know there was at least 1 level with multiple exits, but it seemed that the other exit only took you back to the beginning of that level. I'm going to try to get in touch with some of the folks who worked on the game and see if they know what happened to that map.

Yes, I tried going through that door several times, but it just takes you back.

Thanks for the help and for the maps. Really appreciated.

No problem, I'll let you know when I hear anything back about it.

Ah, I see now. If you use the level warp code (hit backspace and type ETHER), it says warp to levels 1-26. Enter the number 27 and you can get to this level. It's listed as E3LS, "The Rec Room". I'm not sure if there's a way to get there legitly or not.

Thanks. Just played it. Interesting level.
I just played through the game with the help of these excellent maps. As I went, I took notes of which level goes with each file. Figured I'd post it here in case anyone else might find it useful.

Note: The files with "easy" in the title seem to be almost if not quite entirely identical to their "non-easy" counterparts, barring a few missing spike pits and the like. I'm guessing these are alternate versions of the levels for the easier difficulty modes.

Thank you to SCPM and beavinator for this valuable information!

There's some pretty wild level design here. Like in Episode 1 Level 6, it appears there's some mandatory missables...except for a door near the end that leads back to the beginning of the entire stage. Makes for some routing differences between 100% and speedrunning I guess?

Oh yeah I remember trying to 100% that and finding some things just inaccessible.
