I seem to remember a key combination that made the dungeon and town crawling a full screen event...does anyone know this? Perhaps I've got my games confused. Thanks.

I don't know if there is a key combination, but I think there is an option like this ins RoA 3. If there is this possibility, then you will find it under the options menu.
