I am in the process of being issued a refund, as per others in this thread:

So if you bought it and feel as robbed as I did, I would suggest contacting Steam support and applying for a refund. Refunds are in the form of Steam wallet credit, which is fine by me as I will be able to purchase games that work :)
Wow. I haven't been paying attention to this. Is the remake really that bad?

Yes unfortunately it is. The developers have been releasing daily patches(some of which made the game worse) and after the last patch are asking paying customers if the game is actually able to be completed. One would think that sort of thing would have been worked out BEFORE the game was released.

I got my refund, and it is perfect timing given some of the games that are for sale on Steam right now :)
Well, that's too bad.

I've submitted for a refund as well, since I can theoretically get it for sale if it's ever patched to a playable state. It's a shame, since I'd like a version of Blade of Destiny that has a map and bothers to explain things, but that's not what I've got there.
They have been patching the game at a very speedy rate (almost too much as the patches occasionally break more than they fix but it does seem to be getting their slowly.

I haven't bought the game yet but I may do in the future as the developers do seem to be trying to fix it.

One to keep an eye on at least.
It is that bad and if I needed the money I'd ask for a refund.

But I don't, nothing interests me on steam right now, and the devs are putting the effort in... so I'm just leaving it and maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised one day...
My understanding is that the latest patch, as of yesterday, has finally fixed the major issues with the game, and that it is now playable. Not saying it's perfect yet, but now may be a good time to take the plunge. I'm going to hold out for GOG to pick it up, though. I dislike Steam.
