Today I've tried to launch Real Heroes_Firefighter HD through Galaxy, but nothing has happaned. Then I've try to launch game by shortcut and appeared window with error with such content: "The program can't start because XAudio2_8.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix problem". I've tried to do verify / repair feature at Galaxy, but this also don't work.
Need help to fix this problem and launch game. I'm on Windows 7 x64 SP1.

Thank you for reply and Thanks to all your Team for fixing errors :)! As soon as GoG version of game will recieve patch I will write about my gaming expirience!
P.S. As I understand now GoG Team need to implement patch to game? Am I right?

P.S.S. Are you from Epicenter Studios? When I discovered this issue with game, I've tried to find your official site to contact, but doesn't find it. So I wrote about error to Ziggurat Interactive and also here at GoG forum...

Today Real Heroes: Firefighter HD received update. I updated game, but error is stil present - same with missing XAudio8_2.dll. After that I've reinstalled game, but error message still pop-up... I dunno know..., some people write (in different forums / blogs), that this file "XAudio8_2.dll" is absent Windows 7 and OS does not support Software (including Games (v_v) ) that need those dll.
If so, it turns out that gamers will not be able to play Real Heroes on PC with Windows 7?

After about 3 weeks of trying to make Real Heroes_Firefighter HD work on PC with Windows 7 x64 installed, I made decision to refund game... All this period of time people from Ziggurat Interactive Team, Gog store Team have tried to help with fixing error but nothing has helped.
So if you went to forums to read about game, before buy game, YOU must know, game don't work on PCs with Windows 7 installed at all! I've contact other gamers and all of them has same problem (missing dll file). I hope this topic helped you and you will avoid problems.

If at some point Devs make game work properly on machines with Windows 7 installed and you can confirm that, make post, and all gamers will know that game now work good!

We have set a new patch live for the game on GOG (version 1.02). This patch fixes Windows 7 compatibility issues and allows for selection of the game's language from GOG Galaxy. If the automatic update to version 1.02 of the game does not cause the game to run properly. we recommend uninstalling the game and deleting any remaining folders related to the game, then reinstalling. If you have any issues that persist after reinstalling, please send us an email with your system specs (by running dxdiag on your computer and choosing 'save all information' to create a dxdiag.txt file) at support@ziggurat.games.

Can someone among gamers confirm that RH_F now work with Windows 7? I'm asking because patch 1.01 also guaranteed that game will work opn PC with Windows 7 installed...
P.S. Don't want to step on the same rake as last time, when I bought the game, and then spent a lot of time to make it work (without any success)...

I've tryed to run version with 1.01 patch installed, and it didn't start. Now I don't have it in my library, so I cannot help you with this...

!Warning!, recently I came back to this game to try it, and what I've discovered? It even after all patches from devs didn't start on PCs with Windows 7 OS installed. 2 different PCs with different hardware (different platform: CPU, Videocard, etc), software (Drivers, etc) but Same Result - RH_F wont start on both!!!
So be warned - do not buy this game if you on PC with Windows 7 installed on it!
P.S. About Win 8, 8.1, 10 I can't say, but that devs (publisher) lying about compatibility with Windows 7 - are true!
