hi guys ive just purchased rayman3 ive installed it fine it starts fine the windows is small but still works when the game starts the sound is fine but the textures are missing and so is some of the map its just blank can anyone please help

yes i am using intel hd graphics

ive had a look at the post but im not sure how to do this in the control panel please help if you can just to let you know my computer is a hp pavilion g 6 it has an i5 processor 4gb ram and intel hd graaphics well thats what the control panels says about the graphics

1. Go to your desktop
2. Right-click somewhere on the desktop
3. Press "Graphics Properties"
4. You should see a screen similar to this: (click here)
5. Just like on the picture, go to the "3D" menu in the left.
6. Toggle "Custom Settings".
7. Find "Vertex Processing". Change it from "Default Settings" to the Software setting.
8. Press "Apply" and then press "OK".
9. Now, try to start Rayman 3 again.

i done this its says enable software processing i clicked apply and its still just the same when the game starts
ive got rayman 2 and it works fine its just this one doesnt

hey dude if you are still reading this i think i had the same problem. what you want to do is keep those settings that guy posted about and then go to your C: programs/windows/ubisoft. there should be a folder called ubi.ini. what you want to do then is change the Tnl to 0 and then TriLinear to 0.

You need to have administrator privileges to save files in this location.
Either run Notepad as administrator and open Ubi.ini from your elevated Notepad instance, or - a potentially-simpler solution:
After you edit Ubi.ini, save the edited copy to your Desktop, and from there copy it back into the original folder; you'll then be prompted to authorize the action, and after you do so the changes should be in place.

Dependent on if you run Rayman 3 with administrator privileges or not (On Win Vista or later) you might need to edit the ubi.ini in your user folder's "virtual store" (C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows\ubi.ini), but not in C:\Windows.

Do not know if anyone still checks this forum but I don't have a ubi.ini file I just have a English.ini file and all the other languages and the TnL says "TnL:Transform and Ligting" I don't know what to do and or edit help!

So Intel has removed the "Vertex Processing Mode" from it's options. Is there a workaround for this?

In fact, there is a workaround. I'm on Vista, so I didnt have to change any processing things. What I did was I followed this post:

Triple-P94: "In explorer, go to (C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows\Ubisoft\ubi.ini) and change TnL=1 to TnL=0.
