It worked for one day, but after I restarted my computer, it crashes after the Ubisoft logo. I've tried all the compatibility modes, running as admin, changing resolution to native, nothing works. Even after reinstalling, the issue persists. Any ideas?

Try to run the game several times, maybe one of these works(the same happened to me, I had to install it in Linux in order to run propertly).

Can you give us your operating environment? Are you perhaps trying to run this game on a Netbook, or perhaps Intel graphics adapter? I would be happy to help you run this game but do need more details.
Alienware m11x r2
i7 processor (overclocked, of course)
4 gig mem
Nvidia 335m

Uninstalled the game... The reinstalled about a week later... Been working perfect since.. Oh well

I wont point the finger at overclocking.... But have you tried to rerun the setup program again to select a different graphics mode?
Is your resolution set high (eg 1440x900) but using the 16-bit colour scheme?
I have Windows 7 home premium 64-bit. I've just installed Rayman 2 from GOG, version 2.0.0. The game fails to load, all I get is black screen and I have to reset to get out. Also running GXsetup results in black screen. I've also tried nglidesetup, but no use.

Any ideas? I am running everything in administrator mode. My graphics card is Geforce 210.

P.S. I had an older version of the GOG Rayman 2 installed for awhile and I got to GXsetup but no use, starting the game resulted in black screen too. I uninstalled that before installing the new version.

Edit: I just got it to work. I did a bunch of things: updated the nvidia display driver and played with the ubi.ini settings manually. BUT, I think what finally solved it was that I first changed my desktop resolution to 1024x768 and then started GXsetup. From there I selected the glide driver and resolution of 1280x1024. Then hit save and bang! the game starts (after some screen flickering, but nothing serious).

After I played the game a little I changed the desktop resolution back to where it was (1360x768) and the game still works. So weird... Still the game runs at a resolution of 1024x768 but that's okay.
