That's odd. Have you tried running as admin and in compatibility mode? In worst case you can skip the level by pausing the game and typing in "gothere". This will take you to a level selection. Just choose The Fairy Glade to get to the next level.

I have the same issue. I can go to the next level by typing "gothere" in pause menu. But is there a way to fix this crash and do the level ?

install this game in another folder, don't use default folder and run .exe as admin.

Remember to cap to 30 fps to fix all problems with bonus stages (with all nvidia cards there is adaptive v-sync option with half refresh rate)
