Being an older title, does it easily support the 360 controller? Not sure if I wanna get this one, but knowing that would help...

I really don't like the keyboard for platformers , so i'm interested in this as well.

Does not seem to work with my MadCatz 360 controller... and it's unplayable with the keyboard! I should not have bought this...
I just tried the demo. It didn't let me configure the controls, but it let me "calibrate" the left analog stick, and the button assignments were playable. Right analog stick does nothing though: X and Y are used to manually turn the camera, A shoots, B jumps, LB lock on, RB hud, LT and RT temporarily zoom in, out.

What's more annoying is that the game crashes a lot, had to use Win 95 compatibility just to change resolution, and there was no sound. But this is a demo, and the smaller of the two available demos. Downloading the larger one now to see if it has sound.

Edit: Tried the larger demo, and yes it has sound. Still crashes though, on resolution change unless 95/98 compatibility is set, and at what I assume is the end of the demo.

Interestingly, in the smaller demo you shoot a chargeable fireball, while in the larger one you shoot bubbles. Not sure if there are other differences.

I assume you could just use JoyToKey to make your own configuration, but I'm not sure how well it works.

Yes, it does. Controls are as Kalirion described. Plays like I remember it, horrible camera and all.

Works fine for me with wireless Microsoft 360 controller. Plug and play. Controls as described above, though you'll need to use the keyboard every now and then for certain functions. Camera seems fine though I didn't play much. No crashes or anything like that.

Using windows 7 64 bit here and my xbox controller does not work at all during game, tried installing the xbox 360 accessory program for 7 64bit and still does nothing, o well grats to those who it does work for, but theres a chance it wont so beware
I tried Joytokey with my game controller and no luck. However I found success in using Xpadder to make my own configuration. You can download it on the link below.

Also i'm running Rayman 2 on XP.

Windows 7 64-bit here, confirming that it does NOT work for me. Xpadder works in a pinch but it can't emulate an analog joystick so movement is a lot less precise than I'd like.

That's weird, because I have Windows 7 64-bit, and both the available demos pick up the controller. Unless the full game broke something?
I just installed the full version on Win7 64-bit, my 360 pad worked straight out of the box with the control setup described by Kalirion. But, in these situations it's worth looking into software like Xpadder. I bought the software a long time ago, it's not expensive and is incredibly useful.

Yeah, still not working for me. No idea why, it's worked in every other game I've tried to use up to this point...

Do you have the wireless controller by chance? Maybe the drivers treat it differently or something...

Nope, standard wired official 360 controller, standard Microsoft drivers for it. Works in every other game, but nothing gets it working in Rayman 2, including compatibility settings and running as an admin.
