Hey all,
As with many old games, I have a resolution problem. The game appears only in a small box in the middle of the screen.

I had a similar problem with other GOG games and it was partly solved by manually changing the dosbox file. However, I see no such file in the Railroad Tycoon directory.

Does someone have a solution or advice?

Thank you!

Depending on the GPU you have, you should have a 'scaling mode' option in NVidia / AMD panel. Changing it to 'aspect ratio' or 'fullscreen' should help.
I have a different kind of problem. I tried to open the RRT2 game from GOG.

Instead I got a warning of a trojan virus. I removed the virus with the same virus program that gave me the warning.

Now I just get a blank page when I try to run it. Since I lost the use of the program, can I get a replacement RRT2 game?

FIRST PART of the code is +++ GOG.COM\ +++

The last part of the virus code is +++ Galaxy - updater \ PocoNet +++ SSL.DLL +++

( I ADDED all of the PLUS SIGNS )
I should have started A NEW POST FOR THIS PROBLEM. O-well, I guess I'm still learning

Bingo, Avast woke up a day late and gave a warning of a Trojan on board.
Avast also suggested I dump Firefox as not being friendly. That is not the first time Avast has put Firefox down.

Now I'm wondering if I really had more than one Trojan aboard?
My 360 virus checker is quiet, no warnings today. Used 360 to do a deep scan. All is well with my 360 scanner.

Still can't get RRT2 to start on Win 10 or win 7

Yes you should've, it would have been easier for people to notice that you have some issues :)

If you have really one trojan or something else bad, I think it's not coming from one GOG's installer. I totally trust them especially on this point.
I don't know a lot concerning the subject but I'm using Kaspersky, and I know sometimes it can say something is "a potential virus/trojan" when it's absolutely not (and it's just trying to be cautious). Concerning Railroad Tycoon II, I didn't had any warning.
Have you tried to uninstall totally the game, and reinstalling it ? You always can redownload games you purchased on GOG. Remember that you can use Galaxy, or the installer that you can download manually on your library (on the website).

And given the fact I won't be able to help a lot (especially if you're using Galaxy), if you can't get it to work, I strongly advice you to contact support :) (and even starting a new "question" thread before ;))

Hope this helps, even if it's only a little !
Yes you were a great help. And, I don't know where the virus came from.
I used the plus signs to keep from spreading the virus, hoping someone knows what kind of problem I have and how I can solve it.

It may be no more than my lack of understanding of GOG proceedures.

Now, I need to learn how to bump my problem, date wise, to the top of the list.

Thanks again

You're very welcome, and I'm glad if I've helped :)
Unfortunately, concerning virus, I won't be able to help you more... May be should you ask in the general discussions for help ? A lot of people here know computers well and are always ready to help.
I hope your issues will be solved soon ;) Good luck !
