Just the second post here, and already technical issues :(

My Problem:

The game starts fine, but it just appears in a corner of my main monitor, in what i assume to be the original default resolution of the game. The rest of the desktop stays visible, as if the game is in windowed mode, but it isn't, there is no frame, and when i click outside of the game it minimizes.
Playing around with compatibility settings did not change anything. I also found no configuration file on the first glance, where i could set a different resolution.

My System:

OS: Windows 7 x64
RAM: 16 GB
Graphics Card: GTX 970
2 24" 16:10 (1920x1200) Monitors

Any help is appreciated :)

EDIT: Ah, never mind! I was just blind and overlooked the separate options program :) All set now.

Hi,

I currently try to make the game work in windowed-mode and no matter what options I try I always get unplayably low-fps. I really want to show off the game on the gog-stream but thats not possible for me without windowed-mode.

@Ranayna: you can run the game normally in windowed-mode? what are your settings?

Hope anyone can help <3
Settings don't really change performance for me.
The only thing where i notice incredibly bad frame drops is the crafting menu. I think it's related to those glowing yellow outlines, because the drop is the worst when crafting an item that requires eight materials. This frame drop is not so bad in fullscreen, but still noticeable.
Additionally i think that windowed mode is not properly implemented in this game. As soon as the game looses focus it minimizes, with a true windowed mode this should not happen. Fullscreen crashes on ALT-TAB though.
Fullscreen was crashing on me too with an ALT+TAB, but I tweaked the video settings and have no issue now. I changed the game resolution to match my desktop resolution. And I think that was it.

I must also be blind because I am not finding this.

Are you talking about RoM 1 or 2?
Sorry, that post was made when this was just the Evil Islands forum ;)
I have not yet played the GoG Versions of RoM, so i am afraid that i can't help you there.
