Hello,

I bought Evil Islands on GOG because my CD version doesn't work : the loading screen stuck at half of the bar.

With this version, I had no problem until I finish the stealth mission with Odalisque because after the last conversation, I have the same problem than my CD version. : stuck in loading screen with half bar full.

It looks like the program doesn't know what to load after that. How can I fix it?

I tried to play again and strangely, it works!

I don't know how but it looks like it was a bug. I have just loaded a previous save.

Anyway, I prefer to let this topic open if someone else meets the same problem but can't resolve it.

Topic hasn't noticed yet any confirmation about this so here I am. Loading Odalisque's quest on GOG's version is possibly b00cked up due to very strange things happening after dialogue. I had also freezing screen and besides quite disturbing, distorted noises out of speakers. I was unable to ALT-TAB nor CTRL-ESC to another window, thankfully CTRL-R worked fine enough to allow myself to run command prompt.

Thank God I'm saving progress literally every minute (on different slots of course xD) - whole thing moved on after loading fifth or sixth save.
