Just bought and installed the game, and I've only played for a few minutes on the first level, but I've noticed that the up and down keys don't work. I've even remapped them to the WASD keys (odd that they weren't already) but up and down still do nothing. Does anyone else have this problem?

You aren't flying you're racing. If you want to go up you need to hit a ramp.

The up and down keys do affect turning rate noticeably. They don't seem to do anything else.

I'd have thought it was my imagination, too, but when playing Apocalypse a few days before I found myself trying to do a sharp left turn at the start and the results where in fact different when holding forward or back (I would crash in different, predictable spots).

However, this may be a bug rather than a feature, or even just a particularity of my set-up, as I'm using a PS3 controller.

I use keyboard (arrow keys + space bar). I did test it again and I sincerely cannot detect any difference. Maybe it's your PS3 controller and/or a bug!?
