neosapian: setting up different resolutions did not help, as none of them are native, thanks for the reply anyway! :) however, using a 4:3 res and removing the top/bottom boarders in the setup options did help and regardless of what resolution I was using it was the same. it now shows in at least full screen. their is no support for the native resolution of 16:9 monitors also top/bottom borders will automatically re-enable if you change resolutions(for other people to know). so always go and disable top/bottom again. don't know why it is even there. should never be top/bottom borders in any game. most of us use 16:9 or 10 and 4:3 monitors.
Blackthorne519: That's odd. The game's native resolution is 320x240 (4:3) - I don't know why it would display on your graphics card or monitor with top and bottom bars. Do you have any system specs handy, so I can find out what's going on for future reference?
Bt
by removing the top and bottom bars via the game's config it runs in aspect 4:3 which is just fine, the res settings can be changed I use 1600x1200 for the game itself however, my specs are:
Asus 16:9 monitor set to run at 1920x1080
nVidia Geforce GTX780Ti with latest drivers(347.88)
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit SP1 with all updates
32 GB(G.Skill 8GB x 4 Ripjaws RAM
SB ZXR with all updates
crucial M500 480GB SSD
WD Black 3TB(where game is installed under D:\GOG Games\
however, the config has the remove top/bottom or side boarder options I just removed the top/bottom don't know why they are there but they at least at this version of "Infamy"can be removed.
