Hi,

Is there a way to use sourceports but still launch the game through Galaxy and have it record playing time?

This is possible on steam by renaming the .exe but I didn't seem to work with Galaxy last time I tried

Almost same way as in Steam. Replace original exe and 1 additional file. Check pinned topics - im sure there is FAQ about it. Also on GOG Support site.

Now It is just not needed anymore. Now we can use different command lines and/or new exes to use different source ports inside Galaxy. The long awaited feature specially for quake games.
