Can someone confirm me this, its one of the reasons i hadn't bought the game.

Also does the gog version of Quake use the voodoo 3d accelerated graphics? Which were better than the base games, it used to need a patch back in the day.

Music works in base release, you need to mount included disc images before playing, and the virtual CD drive letter in Windows must be first of all optical drives (e.g. if you have real DVD drive and virtual CD drive, virtual must be, for example, E: while real should be F: etc).

I haven't mounted anything.

I literally just started the GLQuake instance and it just works.
