MayRob2: I have a big issue with Quake 1 on Windows 10 (Insider Build 10532):
When playing the Game everything is fine but as soon as I exit the Game my PC either freezes or provides me with a BSOD "VIDEO_MEMORY_ERROR". When I run the same Game from Steam and exit I don't have this issue. Not sure what is different between the Steam and GOG version. Maybe GOG uses NGlide and Steam not?

etb: No userland programs should be able to crash the kernel, the problem is not in the GOG version or anywhere else than your OS or drivers.
The Windows 10 Insider Game Forum Users posted the same issue on other Games too.
The issue is now fixed in the Windows 10 Insider Build 10547.

This proves my point.

Reading this thread I am surprised how lazy people can be. If software were cars it would like:
- my car does not work
- is there gas?
- shouldn't have to work around to get the car working!
