Just curious if anyone knows when the stable branch of the game will get an update beyond 40.43 (possibly into the 41.xx version range).

Hello,

No for the moment we do not have a date for the release. Version 41 is still in Beta and the developers are still working on an improvement of the multiplayer mode.
