Project Zomboid was just updated to 37.9 stable build. The indiestone had mentioned that they would only release stable builds to GOG. Well it's a stable build and I was wondering if you knew any details on it's status for GOG deployment?

Thanks

I hope they fixed non-reloading pistol rounds this time. This is reason why I stopped playing Z online, since firearms became useless.
Hey guys,

what do i have to do to get the latest stable build? I bought this via gog and having a lot of fun.
But without the ability to dl the latest build at all times, its kinda meh.

I mean 36.4 is the build from january, right?
Do i need gog galaxy to get the latest build?

Steam is currently having 37.11.
Did i make a mistake buying this game via gog?

btw: reloading firearms should be fixed, from what i read.
are cars in this one?
arkor83 , you didn't make a mistake, gog will soon update the game. STEAM update faster than GOG...

They only release stable builds to GOG. As far as I know there isn't a set time frame on the release of the stable builds. It feels like about every 3 or 4 months.

I just read the update on there current stable build and yes it does have cars in it. They also said there was going to be more work on the cars. Right now they don't have sound and are not balanced as well as they could be.

It's true that the updates for PZ are less frequent for GOG but that's because they only update GOG with stable versions of the game. I had the steam version to begin with and I played there unstable versions. In my experience it was fun at first seeing whats new in the game but the novelty goes away quickly as you build a character and invest in the world only to have the save not work with the next version or unruly bugs creep in.

One of the main reasons I look forward to the GOG version is both the stability and the lack of DRM.

Your mileage may vary but stability and No DRM are important to me.

It seems Project Zomboid has already updated there latest stable build from 37.9 to 37.11 Should I start a new thread?

3 month lag? Like a champ! Go for it! :)
I thought they could now finally push out patches themselves via Galaxy so that we get them at the same time as Steam? I guess thisn't it the case yet...

I hoped that would be the case as well but I suspect it's a combination of a few things. The indiestone people I spoke with told me that it was difficult to update on GOG. I believe they meant on the developer side. What that means exactly I don't know. I'd like to know if they are referring to the process of updating on GOG or maybe the process of removing all the steam bits out of there build before they can upload it to GOG.

I just pulled this quote off the indiestones news area on their site

" Build 37 went live this time last week – seen here in builds 37.9, 37.10 and 37.11. There will be another fix build going out over the next few days, then once we’re sure the dust has settled we’ll call time on 37 and update the version on GOG."

Actually I checked out the new build. The cars are cool and all but they are broken. No sound, performance problems, no collision damage, and redraw issues where zombies, grass and trees are drawn over the vehicle. Actually I hope they don't post it on GOG until they work out these issues. I'll gladly wait for a better build.
Still not updated
zzzZZZzzz

hmm, wait, what?... updates?... no, no, you got that wrong. we don*t update s***,

you guys realize, your latest build fucked up reloading and other stuff.

how bad can the actual build really be?...

just do it.
Does Steam have this update?

I'm curious because it would be a prime example of why sometimes it's good that GOG doesn't immediately get updates along with Steam. This thing is clearly broken all to hell and gives credence to the folks at GOG who insist on testing and assuring the reliability of something before they release it.
