We've uploaded the PC and Mac build and are waiting on some info from the GOG team regarding the Linux upload.

Sorry for the wait, everyone.

Does that mean that Build 36 should be available already for PC/Mac through the beta channel, or is it pending upload of the Linux version even for non-Linux users?

I've tried enabling Beta Channels through Galaxy (I'm on a Mac) but the only channels available are "Default" (installs 34.28) and "Add Private Channels...", which opens a password prompt. I tried entering "iaccepttheconsequences" but submitting that password just closes the prompt.

Yeah, what does this mean, exactly? Is this a stable build, or iwbums? I would prefer a relatively stable build--35 or 36, I don't care--but I'm not seeing anything new in my download; just 34.xx...
I believe it means that GOG Team must approve the Linux version so that PC/MAC/Linux trio is all ok.
Without at least one of those three working we won't see new build available.

But that's just a guess - would be nice if @NasKoo could confirm.
One of my many regrets in game purchases was to buy this game in GOG.

I would plea to the devs of P. Zomboid to allow those who want to move over to Steam....

I'm almost there too.

Agreed, I only bought this game a month ago but it was evidently a mistake to go through GOG in this case. The developer notes have been very confusing - the day after Christmas they suggested that Build 35 was already available through GOG, but here we are still waiting.
Sorry for the delay, everyone! We were having some issues with the new upload system. Thus, delays like this should be outside the norm and future stable builds shouldn't take as long.
The builds have been uploaded (Linux build uploaded today/at the time of posting) and are awaiting confirmation by GOG.This *could* mean that the linux build is being distributed a bit after the others, but hopefully all three platforms will be flying onto your harddrives at the same time.

I think the people above overreact.. to say the least. Compared to many publishers and devs, your dedication to GOG has been nearly stellar.

If I may, I'd like to ask a question: I know that Steam version supports the look up and ban by SteamID on server side, but does this functionality exist on "PZ servers running GOG version"?

This is useful for server admin who run GOG version, so that IP stays not the only option of filtering - because steam users also connect and I have personally experienced one personality that kept switching nicknames and doing nasty stuff and only my friend was able to identify him/her. My friend used steam client and me - gog client. Thank you!

Status update: Nothing changed. We're still waiting on the confirmation mail to get the builds pumped out. I assume the weekend and timezones are the culprit here.

I don't think there is a "GOG Multiplayer" yet. There is just Steam and non-steam so there is no link between the GOG profile and the game.

So the "GOG version" is really just a "non-Steam" version right now.

This is correct, with "GOG version" I meant non-steam versions (of client and server). Let me reformulate the question: is there a method for non-steam server admin to track and manage clients, which are using steam version via their steamid? To allow/deny and see it, basically.

Because I was playing on non-steam server, I have non-steam client, and my friend who had steam client could see steamid of other steam client.

Sorry for hijacking the thread.. :/

Oh, yeah admins can ban a player's IP but besides that I don't know how we would identify a player.
I avoid MP because keeping the baddies out who CAN'T unlock a door is hard enough. :P
