I've installed Project Wingman on my laptop through GOG Galaxy but when I launch the game it doesn't detect my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick, otherwise the game plays as expected. I'm running a Dell laptop i7, 16 GB, NVidia 1060 with 6 GB and Windows 10 Home 64 bit. I've tried running the game with and without the Logitech driver installed, no difference. Other games have no issue detecting the joystick.

I'd appreciate any suggestions from this forum.

Thanks much,
Dan

Did you try to map it in the options?
Have you any gamepad (or really anything, even a webcam) plugged in?
Have you tried running joy.cpl to check if the stick has the highest priority?

Thanks for your reply. Bought a gamepad and it works with no issues. Have not tried mapping the joystick, it doesn't exist in the options. Joystick works fine with other games so I can't see this as a hardware issue. I'd use the gamelan but I don't care for the mushy joystick. Seems to me that a flight game should support a joystick properly.

Your time is much appreciated.

Well, from what I read elesewhere the Lçogitech 3D pro should work so it's 100% an issue of your system.
Also, joysticks even when detected are blank by default and you have to map both button and axes manually that's why I asked. In steam forums many people thought their joystick wasn't detected because of this.

You are spot on. It was also my reasoning that if no joystick option showed up in the mappings then the game didn't detect the joystick. I tried to map a button and the joystick was detected. I'll map the functions and try a test flight.

Mapped, tested, good to go. So much more fun with the joystick.

Thanks so much for all your help.
