Watching the vids I can't tell whether its gonna have free mouse aim or not. Sometimes there seems a slight change, but mainly it looks centered, and just automatically adjusted at times.

It has mouse aim, but its not exactly free. You can look up or down at certain angles, but not straight up into the sky or down at you feet.

This may be a dumb question but how does one use the mouse to aim? Nothing I do has allowed the mouse to influence the camera and I'd much rather not fight with the rotate buttons to aim at enemies.

My mouse sensitivity was set to 200. I've tried different settings, but still no response from the camera. The cursor works just fine in the menus, but during actual gameplay the mouse does nothing. I had assumed that mouse aim just wasn't an option before looking through the forums.

I've got the very same problem. The mouse cursor works fine in the menus but I've got none mouse control over the camera in the game :(
