New Additions - Las Vegas DLC
Hotels:
- Start by building a front desk, and then build hotel rooms and fill them with visitors
- Hotel demand is based on building amenities, prestige and visitor ratings
- Hotels generate revenue when guests check out, in the middle of the day (not at end of day, like rent)
- Hotel services require a variety of support hotel rooms
- Service elevators are required for certain hotel services in order to move carts throughout the building
Events:
- Build event venues of different types, and then book performers or presenters to host an event there
- Events help fill hotel rooms and increase patronage to stores, restaurants and casinos
Casinos:
- New Las Vegas lobbies, decorations, signs and artworks
- Additional utility type - HVAC (air conditioning)
- A variety of Las Vegas themed contracts, NPCs and animations
- Las Vegas cityscape background and building exterior
- Five new scenarios
New Additions - Base Game:
- Random events
- Randomized events in sandbox games that temporarily alter the economy and certain elements of the simulation
- Utilities that are used at 100% of their capacity are likely to short out and shut down
- Events can be turned off in "advanced settings" during new game setup.
- Tenant relocation
- Movers office is required to start relocation
- Offices, apartments, stores and restaurants can now be moved for cash and influence cost
- Services and artworks can now be moved for cash cost
- Several new restaurant and retail tenants can be built
- Additional contracts added based on new content
- Small tuning adjustments to base game to improve gameplay

- Putative fix for trash rooms that don't empty in certain save files
