I've been playing this game (Timeshock) for years, but obviously never at the right time of day, or night as the case is here.

For those that already know, disregard, but it looks like there's a little easter egg for those who play around the midnight mark on their system clock. It just happened to me 15 minutes ago.

I don't know if these are the precise conditions that are required, but - I had time drive enabled, three balls locked, and super-scanner. I shot for the crystal, and super scanner gave me a mode called Midnight Madness, which was essentially two minutes of no ball saver but unlimited balls - and there was roughly 10 balls on the screen at any given time.

I think it was supposed to have the midnight madness track playing, but for some reason it had the time machine frenzy music. I suspect this is because I was trying to travel in time, since after it ended it had put me in the future and I didn't get a time machine frenzy.

Still discovering things about this game! It's amazing!
I also had this once, didn't know how did I get it... you think it's connected with the system clock? Through DOSbox?

It just happened again, roughly midnight again, so I'm guessing it does. Dungeon Keeper 2 does something similar, except it tells you to go to bed, haha.

i'll definately check that out!
Interesting. Thanks for the tip!
It's a nice little easter egg, for any of you who somehow don't know, having a special midnight madness easter egg was the norm for many pinball machines at some time.
