if you have issues to get Pro Pinball - Timeshock running, you could try the following instruction...

before you begin, make sure that there is no hanging "Timeshock!.exe" process in your Task Manager or simply restart your PC.

download these files from their project pages:

cnc-ddraw-v4.4.7.0.zip from https://github.com/CnCNet/cnc-ddraw/releases
v2_05_83_fx4_build.rar from https://sourceforge.net/projects/dxwnd/files/Latest%20build

from the downloaded archives, extract only the following files to your game folder and select yes to overwrite existing:
(i'm using 7-Zip to extract them)

from 'cnc-ddraw-v4.4.7.0.zip'
ddraw.dll
ddraw.ini

from 'v2_05_83_fx4_build.rar'
vcda\winmm.dll
vcda\winmm.ini
dxwplay.dll
libogg.dll
libvorbis.dll
libvorbisfile.dll

open 'ddraw.ini' with a text editor and change the keys to this values:

fullscreen=true
windowed=true
maintas=true
renderer=direct3d9
shader=
maxgameticks=-2

now start the game (it should start now) and if it throws an error, go to the graphic settings and raise up the resolution and color settings.

if you prefer the DOS Version, i have created several Pinball installation scripts, but they all need the latest DOSBox-X to be installed on your system.
you can find them here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KW3wJns0T3uQUVu7jNVmyz66PNnONiCh

btw. the ddraw.dll and draw.ini may also with the other Pro Pinball games

Hi, how do you use your install scripts? whenever one is executed all I get is a blue screen with 3 choices. No matter which one I select it closes without a message or any kind of info about it. How do I use the instalation scripts for The Web and Timeshock?

there are many reasons why it may not work.
which OS did you use?
did you run it with administrative permissions?
did you try to place and run the script from another location?

in general, you need to download and install DosBox-X first, otherwise the script will ask for the dosbox-x.exe location.

The Web is not available on GOG, so i have only the script for the CD version.
just start and follow the instructions, for install choose "i", insert the CD and it should work.
same thing with the Timeshock CD install script.
there is also one for the Timeshock GOG version, you need to install the GOG version first so the script will find it.
I noticed after following op's instructions that I started having trouble with the music. However, I installed a different version of Ogg-Winmm which resolved the issue. I also ran into an issue with frame rate being erratic, though I was able to quickly resolve that by changing the graphics settings to medium.
