Oh Mediafire removed the Download? I certainly didn't do it...

There are 81 tracks and I don't have the full length. It's also a very quiet soundtrack save some songs. >_<; While I appreciate the soundtrack, GoG needs to work on making them consistent in volume level.

What do those sites do? Fix the volume without having to make it a .wav file and then back to .mp3 (I find that so annoying and tedious)?

Yes, those two programs do not make an intermediate .wav file. They can normalize the volume across the entire album. In particular mptrim can automatically remove the silent part at the end or the beginning of a song.

I have bought the game and I found out that the soundtrack is the same low quality version that can be found on file sharing sites.

The first six tracks are ripped from the Bonus DVD of the Collector's Edition and as such have good quality.

The remaining tracks are to a large extent low volume, low quality files with popping and static noises. Some tracks have up to 4 minutes of silence at the end (like track 70 "the last obstacle").

I have used the programs above to make it a little less jarring, but GOG could have asked for a higher quality version of the complete soundtrack, I imagine someone at ubisoft must have it.

Hello, can anyone report how many tracks are included in the WW and T2T OSTs offered by GOG? I already own the games on Steam and also purchased the Trilogy OST from iTunes which is missing several tracks from the Japanese SoT which I believe is included here, but have no idea about to expect from the other two separate OSTs.

It is SO fucking hilarious that the Ost presented here are low quality versions of ripped soundtrack the Ubisoft community did ages ago.

I should know, I provided the Warrior Within Ost.

geez, wish I had read this before purchasing PoP 2008 today, very annoying popping noises on almost every track I have listened so far, how did this disgrace slip through GOG's quality control?

EDIT: just wrote to GOG support team to let them know about this issue, also noticed that the noises seem to affect tracks 7 to 40 only (out of the 81 available).

I love GOG and what it represents so I will probably buy the Prince of Persia games this weekend despite already owning them on disc (the PC disc versions of WW and T2T do not work on 64-bit Windows, and I have PoP 2008 on Xbox 360) but I sincerely hope that GOG will do its best to improve its versions of the games.

Edit: This is really weird, I don't remember posting this yesterday. I think I posted it a year ago and the date got changed :S
