This is so Nightdive. I had a similar problem with Blood Fresh Supply where there was (among other things) no strafe modifier button like in the original Blood (ALT) which is required for keyboard only play. I refunded it.

But I think a missing invert Y option is even worse than that.

If you have GOG Galaxy installed you can patch your game and enjoy it with inverted mouse controls now. Offline files will follow this week I assume.

I know, it's been a while...Has this been fixed? I am maybe going to buy this game, but as I am under Linux (i.e. WINE) I need the patched offline installer.
BTW: 2nd Patch / ver V1.0.1650 is available on Steam since July 2022.

But just another point: I've heard, that you can't save at the checkponts, you can return to the checkpoints only during the current game. That would mean basically no Mid-level-save functionality, is that true?

Yes the game only saves at the start of a level and checkpoints only respawn you when dying. When you close the game, restart it and continue you'll start at the beginning of the last level you entered.

It sounds bad but actually it's not. Levels are not too long and the game is also not really that hard with all the hp and ammo pickups you can find. It's a ~ 7 hour game so tons of free time is not required.

Well, i guess this one is not for me. .I like to play during my 30min lunch break.
And I also love to explore the levels thoroughly, come back to places, try other routes etc.
I guess I'll stick with the original PC-version on RAZE or use the the Playstation version
in an emulator featuring savestates..
But anyway thanks for all the info, I appreciate it!
Maybe I'll buy it on occasion, just to complete the collection.
