I tried to start playing swat 1(just purchased it and install)

but i get this error msg :

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running.Check your computer's system inormation to see whether you need an x86(32-bit) or x64(64-bit) version of the program,and then contact the software publisher"

any ideas?

Sounds like you're trying to run the original files without DOSBox. Run the game through the start menu or desktop shortcuts the installer makes.
