It worked! POD runs fine now.
But the textures seem trasparent, i can see the wheels through the car, and the maps are like that too. Anyone with that problem?

Yes, I'm having that problem too.

I've seen this effect on Windows 7 with a HD6850 if dgVoodoo is configured to use DirectDraw7 & Direct3D7. Run the dgVoodooSetup.exe and switch the Renderer API to Direct3D9. This should solve your problem.
Thanks to Nico, i no longer need to mount POD CD version image to play the game with dgVoodoo's wrapper.

I have switched to directX9 but i get this error when running the game:
grSstWinOpen Error
Any thoughts?

EDIT:
Ok, found out that some people have managed to solve this by changing the resolution in the wrapper to 1024x768.
But i'm trying to run the game in a netbook, so i don't even have that resolution available :(

Any forced resolution should work in full screen. Else you could try the windowed mode (should always work).

I can't set the full screen resolution to more than 1024x600, it doesn't even show up on dgvoodoo options. Windowed mode same thing. I guess that it wont work on a netbook.

There is no 800x600?
(POD was developed for a 4:3 ratio)

There is no need to force/override the game resolution in windowed mode.
The game will run in a 640x480 window (or 800x600 if you set DisplayMode=6 in the Ubi.ini)
lordcookies, is your display adapter the Intel GMA950? Question is, I can set my desktop screen to 1024x768, 16-bit color, make all the changes to dgVoodooSetup but it's still a no go. I believe there is something to do with the Intel adapter.
