Hello my fellow GOG-fans ;)

I just bought this game today, because I loved to play it in the 90s. But I have one problem: I can't play this game because it's running WAY too fast.

You can look at a short recording here: http://www.livestream.com/montevidya/video?clipId=pla_56ab6af0-173f-48bb-9843-fc3d82cba21d&utm_source=lslibrary&utm_medium=ui-thumb

Is there a way to fix this? Because I would really love to play this gem :D

Thanks in advance for every answer on this topic.

EDIT: I tried starting this game in several compatibility modes, but nothing helped.
My specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7-950 @ 3.07 GHz
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 SOC

Anything else relevant?

Odd, I'm running a similarly-specced CPU and video card to you with no issues. This kind of thing used to happen on the original versions of POD, and it was related the either the video card refresh not being detected properly or the CPU being too fast. Both of these issues seem to be fixed for most people on this GOG release, but obviously not for you. Suckfest!

The old fixes for this were to force V-sync on for the exe (PODX3Dfx.exe in this case) which you can try by forcing it in the nVidia Control Panel.

If that doesn't work, you may also want to try altering the affinity of the exe as it is running. CTRL+ALT+DEL, then go into Processes and find the POD exe, then right-click, choose "set affinity" and make sure only ONE CPU is chosen.
YAY, thank you very much, running this game with V-SYNC activated is working for me :) I can finally play this game <3!
running this game with V-SYNC activated is working for me too.

going into Processesfinding the POD exe, then right-click, choose "set affinity" and making sure only ONE CPU is chosen did not work for me
