I resolve this bug in my Windows 10 technical preview ;

I create a TXT file with extension ".bat " (for example, CDPatcher.bat)
I add lines like this
set __COMPAT_LAYER=Win95
cd "C:\GOG Games\CD Patcher\"
CDPatcher.exe

I run it in admin mode, and it's working.

I fixed that ugly selection bug in my modded version of the CDPatcher. It happens because Microsoft changed some stuff in the way items are selected after Windows 95. My mod emulates the old behavior as if run in compatibility mode automatically.
(It also looks completely different because I hate the original CDPatcher interface, s. attachment.)

It is available in this package together with "all" tracks and cars (me and Darkriot confirmed that some cars are missing, and a few skin hacks in the tracks, but nothing too special. I update it later). It also contains some track hacks like Alderon and Galeria with an accessible bridge.

the link seems to be dead :( the selecting is kinda wonky in the old CDPatcher from ubi. would also love to try that hacked Alderon and Galeria!
