This version finally makes nuclear powered car a real alternative. No more getting out of car and changing 6+ dead batteries every 50 minutes (and dealing with the UI clutter they cause). The pretty basic vehicle in attachment does 28kph on a plain which is not that impressive, but it does 10kph on very steep hills too. Nuclear reactor has enough juice to put all wheels at top speed. Only thing missing is a way to "shift gears" between speed and torque from the safety of the cockpit, all wheels at once.

For me this is much more noticeable improvement than 0.7.0 was.

And it looks like I'm not alone in wishing this, it's planned for November 0.8 update):

Central Control of Active Blocks on a Single Grid

We know right? This will make so much easier and cooler. Being able to set your vehicle settings from the safety of your cockpit? And your base from a terminal. This should be good.
hi

It's here already on Galaxy, it will come to the installers when they can be bothered in the next few days. The delay is to make the 'optional' client seem like a better choice.
