Thanks a lot, but alas the .exe won't start. Which is kind of ironic since I'm using boot camp :)

Ah ok, I installed hex editor in Fusion and did it there. This should work. :)

I redid patch for this since patching in MacOS apparently breaks the binary.

Thank you, good Sir. That works perfectly!
Hello Scientt, you're amazing for doing this. I too am having lots of crashes after entering areas like the art museum and the witches hut. Could you please fix my exe as well!

My resolution is 1920 x 1080 and I'm running it on Windows 7 64 bit Home edition. My exe is posted below. Thank you so much.

Awesome, I friggin love you! This works like a charm. Cheers!
This seems to be the first Google result when searching for a fix. Anyway, you've done plenty of exe files already but would you mind fixing another one, scientt? The resolution is 1920x1080 and I uploaded my exe here: http://www.mediafire.com/?cbfe3if8zyjez5t

Thanks in advance! :)

Hey scientt, thanks for everything you're doing! Would this solution also help with the problem of loading after installing the widescreen mod? I switched computers mid-game and forgot that there might be problems because the new computer is a different resolution than the old. I re-installed the whole game and mods from scratch but copied my save game from the old computer, and it played just fine for a while. Now I've returned to Sigil and I can't enter Fell's Tattoo Parlor (among other important places).

Anyway, here's my exe:

Based on your resolution, this may help with crashing (higher res are more likely to cause crashes unpatched). However, did you apply the widescreen mod to saves? It will update them to use a newer res, at least latest version. You'll need to do this, otherwise you'll run into crashes not part of one I fixed in exe below.

Hi scientt,
thank you very much for the help you are providing to the community of PS:T aficionados! :)

My game crashes every time when I am in the art gallery and I get close to Yvana. In addition, it also crashes occasionally (say, 1/3 of the times) when I enter Mebbeth hut.
My resolution is 1280x800, Windows XP (on bootcamp).

It would be great if you could find time to fix my exe file too! Thanks a lot! :)

I don't really feel like manually patching anymore and bigg is taking forever to update Widescreen mod with fix. So I put together a quick console patch to automate it. Back up your torment exe before hand just in case. Run the command line patcher in directory where Torment.exe is. You'll have to run it as admin if its in program files on win7 or vista. It will ask for x and y coordinates of your current WS resolution, just enter them in and hit enter.
