I've also experienced a lot of crashing at witch's house in Ragpicker's Square.

Wow that was fast.
Worked perfectly no crash entering the gallery and no crash walking in the zone that triggered the crash. Thanks a lot scientt!

kalee: Has there been any response from bigg? :)

I would really like to test this patch. My current resolution is 1920x1080 (although I think I chose 1920x1200 to be max possible resolution when installing widescreen mod).
My exe can be downloaded here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/107263/Torment.exe

scientt: Yes, he is going to include my patch into WS mod once I've finished doing some more analysis. I'm pretty confident everything is good so prob next week I'll ask him about releasing an update with patch included. Just been busy with other things to follow up about it. Here is your patched exe for 1920x1080.

Been having the same problems, running the game at 1920x1080. When I tried to use that exe it's asking me for CD2. Any ideas?
Because your exe probably has different things patched than kalee's? Just because you are using the same resolution, doesn't mean you can just use that exe...

Ah, my mistake then. Here's my .exe if you care to look at it:

Patch for 1920x1080

edit:
Also, I thought I'd note that bigg is going to update widescreen mod soon (in next few weeks when he has time) to include this patch. So no more manual patching required. Thanks to everyone who helped me test it. :)

Gracias, works perfectly. In case anyone else finds this thread until the next update comes out, would the .exe you modified for me be able to work for others if they use the same resolution/mod configuartion? My setup is exactly what it recommends in the gog mod guide.

It should, but its probably safer just to patch it. One could compare their exe to one original one you posted and if they match then it would be safe to use. Otherwise, it would have to be manually patched or wait until WS updates.
I already had my exe patched once, but could I have once more please. I had to re-install everything, because my game got stuck after exiting Ravel's Maze and the cinematic dialog, the game freezes asking cd 4 although I have copied all cds to single folder. Must be something wrong with my installation.

Anyway my exe is here http://dl.dropbox.com/u/30899371/torment/Torment.exe and I am using 1280 x 800 resolution.

Also, you might want to make sure to clean out temp folder in PST dir, that sometimes resolves issues where file was copied there badly and making game freeze. Usually more of an issue with 2CD version tho.

Hello scientt,

Could you please patch my executable file too? I am having the same problems as those mentioned in this thread.

Here is my Torment.exe, and I am running it at 1920x1200 resolution: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/29871909/Torment.exe

Thank you for your help!
