Without spoiling anything, my game crashes whenever I try to leave the grain silo towards the end of the game. Even if I kill myself instead of use the exits.

Any ideas?
To clarify: running Windows 7 x64 as a non-admin (running with admin changes the games working directory, and thus I can't load my save games).

I have the widescreen and PST-fix mods.

I figured out how to run as admin and move my files over, but that didn't help.

Thinking this is a core game or mod bug.
Have you tried applying this patch to fix bug in WS mod?

The game is crashing for me when I try to enter the Silo in Curst. Scientt has a fix but mentions that you'll need hex editor and basic understanding of hex.

How do I apply this fix ?

Okay my PC runs at 1920 x 1080 and I dowloaded a Hex Editor. Someone solved this issue by doing the information below. But I am not sure how to use the actual Hex Editor? How do you search for the information in the Torment.exe file

Ok, I made an account. Sorry for the double post with my guest form.
I've got a Hex editor and I'm trying to apply this fix, but I can't figure it out (I have no knowledge of Hex at all, really). I've opened Torment.exe, searched and found the strings you listed, but I'm a bit confused as to what I'm editing and what I should be editing it to.
The resolution I'm using is 1920x1080, and I've gone and found out what those are in Hex (0x780 and 0x438 respectively) but I'm a little stuck from there. No idea how to get from those to the XX XX XX etc. format.

Would I be correct in doing this: 1920x1080 - Replace 80 02 with 80 07 and replace E0 01 with 38 04 ??

I wrote a small CLI tool to automate this process, no hex knowledge required. Just use the correct dimensions. No idea if bigg ever bothered to fix his mod.
