The game seems to be reading a random series of inputs which results in menus constantly opening. The game ran normally the first few times I launched it, but it's since become unplayable. I've read a few topics that covered this problem, but I haven't seen any answers. It should also be noted that I'm *very* new to PC gaming, and understand little about how to solve this on my own. Thanks for any advice.

Could you specify on what operating system (e.g. Windows 7) you try to run the game?

In which directory (e.g. C:\Games\Planescape\) did you install the game?

Did you do anything between the time it worked and it started to show problems (e.g. install new video drivers)?

Are you trying to run the game as downloaded or did you try any mods that change the game?
I have the same problem, can anyone help? I play on Win 10, I5, Intel HD
Honestly, I had the same problem a few times, and ... yeah, rebooting the computer and launching the game again always randomly solved it. Reading a bit in the forums, I saw other people reporting the same thing ... You say that the game "became unplayable" ... but, as simple as this tip sounds, did you try to reboot the computer and to launch the game once more?

Reading the forums, it seems that a lot of Planescape problems can be resolved by just rebooting the computer ... huh.
