I see that there are mods to assign Quickload and Quicksave to F -keys, but I'm deep into the game already and I worry about messing it up with a mod.
In the game key assignments "Q" creates a quicksave. Is there a corresponding Quickload key in the unmodded game?

To the best of my knowledge, no there is not. Might want to wait a day or two and see if someone else found something I didn't though - I tend to just use standard menu options for stuff like that.

Do you mean that there are "standard menu options" available for Quicksave/Quickload inside of Planescape? Or do you mean that you use the Save Game option for that purpose? It just puzzles me intensely why there is a prescribed quicksave key in the menu (Q) but no way to restore the quicksave.

I use the "save game" options in the menu: *my* personal preference (in most games) is to hit ESC or similar, then pick save out of a list. :) I don't actually tend to use options like Q for a quick save, even though I know they are there. why? Probably paranoia on my part - clicking on a save option then assigning it a slot and seeing it save..call it a quirk.

I think it might be because the autosave/quicksave is stored the same way as the manual save, a quickload option could confuse the issue I suppose *shrugs*. Could be a good question for the modders...

Hmm.... I'll have to look more closely. I haven't been able to track down a save file I recognize as a quicksave. Perhaps it just overwrites the last save loaded. Well, Gamefreak, you've been a patient friend on this quest. Wish I could add you to my party ;). Thanks again.
