Thanks to Johnny Walker aka ThunderPeel2001, we've managed to come up with a guide how to mod Planescape: Torment to get the best of this great game. As requested by some users I'm creating this topic in the P:T forum with a link to the guide and making it a sticky.

thank you for this. Will gog store this mods if original sites will no longer exist? ( Im just asking humble :-) ) I must say I'm amazed with this work of that people.

This might sound like a silly question, but are any or all of these mods included in the gog install of the game?

No. GOG versions don't include any unofficial content like mods or community patches.

Just out of interest do you know if there is anyway to increase the size of the inventory screen, and the texts for item descriptions and the like?

No, sorry. Ghostdog's UI has bigger fonts but they apply only to dialogues/journal.

thanks, will play around with reducing the screen res and see if I can get a workable compromise

If you're 16:10, do 1280x960.
If you're 16:9, do 1280x720.

Pretty much perfect at those resolutions.

went for 1440x900 (16:9) and it looks great but thanks for the advice.

Did anyone else have issues with the mod downloads? I'm not very computer savvy so I may be missing something, but all of the mods except the widescreen one won't extract when I try to extract them. I'm using winrar and it just tells me in a popup window that it can't open most of the files. No explanation or anything. I've tried re-downloading but it does the same thing. Anyone know if there is anything I can change on my computer to open these mods?

Make sure the folder you're extracting to actually exists first. Other than that, I can't think of any other issues.

Hi, I'm trying to install winrar to extract the mods for planescape torment and my pc keeps identifying it as malware. Do I need to disable something? Or could I be getting a dodgy version? Thanks for the help, hopefully :)

It shouldn't be malware at all. I recommend getting 7Zip over WinRar, as it is completely free.
