Vagabond: If only that thread was stickied...
yeah I agree

I actually checked for threads like these before creating my own, if I saw it, I would have posted there
Well, the only thing, that i can install is probably Widescreen mod. Got the game on GOG etc, but when i copy the other mods to main folder and launch it's .exe, only black dos window shows up for a second and it closes. I can't choose anything you mentioned, like "DO NOT INSTALL" that or other.
My system is Windows 7 64 and no, i don't have my game installed in Program Files ;p
Maybe im forgot about something?

EDIT: Ok, i installed some via command line, but not everything... UB just refuses to go, as it has different version number (21300), while widescreen etc had 22000. It's trying to update but probably fails, as the exe file vanish and only debug remains...
Why nothing can be so easy as in tutorials?

EDIT II: Woo, i've managed to fix it and everything installs without a scratch. I just deleted the widescreen.exe that remains after widescreen mod installation... No version checking, no errors, simple, lol. The game works fine. I can't check everything, but UI mod works, quick-save works... i guess it's 100% fine.
I use 1680x1050 with 120% font and it's just brilliant.

P.S. There was some other topic about mods, but it covered only resolution change. This topic gives a lot, lot more, so "Already done" is... fail.

It uses the exact same source for info, which covers everything. It's a matter of clicking a link. So saying it's fail is fail. :P

Sorry, but a list on Bootstrike.com is not the same as Shsforums.net :E. Besides, here our GoG mate gave the direct links with instructions for most useful things. Not just "Here are the mods, but i never tried them" or something similar.

The first link is to the same blog which in turn links to all of the exact same mods, and gives explicit instructions for each of them. The GOG user who made the post says he has tried all of them, him and tons of other people in the thread, which is also full of useful troubleshooting. :P

The link at the end is just additional non-essential stuff if people feel like trying it on their own. I have no idea how you skipped over the first ~10 paragraphs of that post.

Well, i'm just an idiot, what were you expecting? Further dialog is pointless. Case closed.
Roman5: Thanks for collecting that information here instead of assuming GOG forum users will always have access to an abandoned blog.

chautemoc: Thanks for finally giving me a chance to see what happens when you bury someone's pointless contributions.

Haha um, you're welcome?
Thanks Roman5, very nice list and suggestions.
I tried to download the widescreen mod but the install fails.

Says CRC failed in set up - widescreen.exe, unexpected end of archive and says Ssome installation files are curruptted.

i've downloaded it about 5 times and got it from another source (v2.60)

Any ideas?

Win 7 x86
Is there a way to change the widescreen resolution after you have installed all the files?
