Agreed. NeoGAF and I have been drooling over this since it was announced and launched. I wish they did do smaller stretch goals though.
I funded this around the 2,418 backer mark. Would have been sooner, but Kickstarter didn't play well with my tablet's browser.

That said, I can't wait to see how this project grows over the next 3.5 weeks. I own a physical copy of PS:T, but it's in storage at the moment, and I'd love to play through the game during this Kickstarter. I may have to pick up the GOG copy, but if I do, that's $10 I could have spent pledging for Torment: Tides of Numenera.

I am so torn.

...Almost...tormented even.

Heh.

How old is your physical copy? It might be worth paying the ten bucks to avoid the hassle of getting your old one out of storage and then faffing about getting it working. Give the Kickstarter the extra money after your next payday.

If only it would be that easy. Unfortunately it's so hard to buy any games here with the current payment options. I live in the Netherlands and most people here don't have or use creditcards, nor do I want or need paypal :S

I agree, I own the original boxed copy with 4 disks which is a real hassle to install, get the GOG version, it's worth it in time savings alone.

Physical copy is a couple years old. If memory serves, it's only a single disc. When I got it, I installed and patched it without any issues that I recall, but that wasn't on a Windows 7 machine.

Now that I think about it, maybe it was on my wife's laptop that she barely uses anymore. Hmmmm. Will have to double check that.

That single disc DVD version works well - I used to have one of those.
I just read all of this. Unbelievable. I am so happy. Wish Cris Avellone joined the team, though. Maybe he will make up his mind sooner or later.. This could turn out awesome.
Going up to the 3M mark. I wonder if this is going to end up going over the 4M mark and beating project eternity in pledges.

I think this is stating the obvious, but I am ridiculously excited by the prospect of shadowrun, PS:TTON, project eternity and wasteland 2 being made with crowdfunding. I really expect the lack of evil publishes being involved will go a long way in avoiding such disasterous sequels/remakes such as diablo 3, simcity, dragon age 2 (UGH) and basically any recent EA release.

Yay for crowdfunding, boo for publishers.

Holy crap, I just checked what you mean. Thanks for pointing it out. Now I am really dreaming. :-)
Just quietly bumping this thread as there's only seven days of the Kickstarter left... I do hope that everyone who wants to contribute hears about it in time.
