I can run the game with the new Linux tarball but I can get no sound at all on Ubuntu 12.04.5 64-bit.

Run this from terminal:
sudo apt-get install libasound2:i386 libasound2-data:i386 libasound2-plugins:i386

Already have libasound2 and libasound2 plugins. But there's no package named libasound2-data for Precise...

I'm running Precise as well. After looking, the earliest Ubuntu release to include libasound-data is 13.10. The specs for the game do say 14.04 as a minimum...

Yeah, well didn't complain. :) Just wondering if there's a solution. I can run the game fine using my native Wine and GOG's windows distributable anyway.
