If it's anything like my old French version, I wouldn't recommend it. I bought the french version at retail many years ago and then proceeded to discover that the translation is actually incomplete.

There's some missing text at some point in the game, and some dialog is still in English. It's too bad really, because the french version is otherwise actually good. They've done a pretty good job of translating the colorful vocabulary of Sigil's inhabitants and the VA isn't too cringe-worthy.

Maybe a patch was eventually released to fix the translation, but if it wasn't updated then I strongly suggest sticking to the english version.

I just installed it and it seems that only the texts and menus are translated. No voice acted, which is good, as I love the english voices. So it might not be the direct port of the french version, but a new translation (or a finished translation).

Yes, I think french audio files are missing (I for now didn't bought the GOG version). They must weigh 1.4Go. The french voices were good (however the english voices might be better??).

Or you can try these texts too:
torment.warparadise.com
They weigh 1Ko less than tradjeuxfr ones, but they may have been corrected in the whole.

I love the french voices 'Je m'fond dans l'ombre' and "attaque sournoise !!" from Anna is good !
