The installation instructions say to simply move the beta packs files into the game's override folder, yet when I do this some of the files are already in there, and one is larger than the file it is to be replaced with.

Has anyone installed the fix pack beta and had this problem?

TIA

Because they're changing stuff in files so they'll be different sizes? You would just have them overwrite existing files in override.

And any reason you're using platter's pack over Qwinn and mine? There are some problems with his and Qwinn ported all relevant fixes from that into our one. Plus you get engine fixes to exe that I've done.
I'm sorry but I have not heard of your pack. I looked at the sticky mod guide thread and the link in the first post mentions a fix pack and that is the one I sought out and found that there was another one, the fix pack beta, to be installed as well as it. It was the installation of the second additional fix pack which prompted this thread.

EDIT:
Just realised that the fix pack beta was meant for version 1.37 of the fixpack and so presumably is neither needed or compatible with the ver 4.13 that I now have.

So that solves this issue.

Correct. If you copy either of platter's fix packs on top of our fixpack v4.13, pretty sure its going to break a lot of stuff. Also, all of fixes should of been rolled into our fixpack by Qwinn.
