Hey, im having problem with saving. It worked fine untill the first time i quit the game. When i started it up again and tried to save for the first time it froze (had to force quit it). Now when i try to save in an old or new game i either get a freeze or a crash saying "An Assertion failed in F:\Torment\Source\baldur\InfGame.cpp at line number 6295". Anyone has any clue how to solve that problem?

If you are on Win7 or Vista, have you tried to tick the checkbox for 'Run as Admin' on the game shortcut ?

(Right click the shortcut > Properties > Switch to the compatibility tab, to find the checkbox in question)

I'm also under the impression that changing resolution with the widescreen mod midway through a game messes up the saves, so if you did that it would probably explain the messed up savegames.

Where did you install? Vista & 7 are overprotective of Program Files (and program files (x86), same thing really) and often won't let games save in there
