Some hints for a evil character in Planescape: Torment?
The first time I played, it was with a good character, but I want to try something different.
How the NPC's that can enter in the party (like Annah, Fall-from-grace, etc...) will react to my evil deeds? They'll leave the group/attack me? In that case, what characters won't mind my not-so-good actions? Ignus?
And in what places can I kill everybody? I know that in some places there are infinite guards, so I better be nice there.

But that's it, I want some hints, because I never played with a evil character in this game.
I've never played an evil character and it's been a while since I last played PS:T, but I would imagine Morte and Dak'kon wouldn't leave you; also I can't really see Ignus and Nordom being terribly upset by your evil deeds... Vhailor would most likely disapprove though.

In any case I don't think you can just go around slaughtering anything you meet... But then again I'm not speaking from any proper evil experience here. (Despite my name I play good/neutral characters 95% of the time).

You can't "kill everybody" anywhere except when quests allow you to (the undead catacombs, maybe some other places). Frankly I don't understand why people consider the "kill everybody" thing to be pinnacle of evil in games. It's boring and it's something only a maniac would do.

You'll usually pretty much be restricted to being a manipulative bastard in conversations, and do the evil solution to some quests (where they exist).

Most of your companions are either tied to you or neutral so, with the exception of Vhailor they won't object much, unless you do something that affects them personally.

What's the problem in being a maniac in a game? :p
In some games it's fun to kill massive amounts of live beings.
You should try sometime.

Thanks for eliminating some of my doubts!

Sometimes you don't get tired of being the good guy?
To be evil is to play psychotic douche. Lie. Make fun of Morte whenever possible. Always taunt people and choose sarcastic or otherwise stupid sounding option, like asking Zombies why they look like that, if the rash is contagious, rob people, etc. Tell you do something, then betray them.

Killing everyone is never an option. There's always one or two immortal scumbagsin almost every place who just ruin your day. Plus, you'll miss out on tons of rewards and EXP even if you manage to kill averyone somewhere.
If you are evil alignment then Vhailor will not only not join you but will attack you. So that is one member that you can't get.

Also, Dakkon will have a lower morale if you do evil things. This means his capabilities will be much lower. I don't think he leaves you but he's not as strong as if you were good.

Note: If you're a sadist, and learn all you can about Dak'kon, this will seem hilarious. Because you, you sick bastard, will know why.

I've only played good characters, but damn, those Aasimar (or whatever they are) in the Clerk's Ward really honk me off.

As a rule, though, going on psychotic rampages won't work as the Lady'll maze ye right quick, and ye don't want that t'happen twice-like.

Threaten to kill people if they don't do what you want, then
actually kill them
. Lie, cheat, steal, kill, hurt, and generally
do everything that you shouldn't. And do the worst thing you can
do, give the Modron Cube to a giant Entropic Iron Golem.
also that funky Grimoire of Pestilential Thought comes really handy.
but you will probably be chaotic evil. i think i've played the game 3 times and still couldn't be lawful evil (despite keeping all the vows, not making fun of morte and not asking stupid questions).

I'm almost automaticaly chaotic evil. I know it is often depicted as an murdering machine without a heart. But I got that alignment without killing any innoscent. You just have to lie your ass off, do nothing just for the favours sake and accept only If you got something (mostly money) in return. Avoid friendly reactions in conversations like "thanks" or " your welcome", get straight to the point or even reject to help. So you're a chaotic If you do whatever comes to your mind, in some situations you take a stand, in others not. Sometimes you help, but you lie. And apart from that you can do all that to actually help people (being good) or just to make it worth your while and you actually don't care about the person (and in PS:T there are a lot of dialogue options which makes you able to express that)

Still, nobody in my party have a problem with me (got Morte, Daakon, Ignus, Annah and Grace)
I always end up Chaotic Good or Chaotic Neutral.
Which suits me fine.

Vhalior will have problems if you do something that doesn't fit his perception of law - it can be a good deed (like protecting Annah when he tries to attack her).
He's not by any means good - he's just lawful. I usually prove his devotion to lawkeeping wrong \ meaningless which takes away his reason to live.

Well, my list with my companions implies I don't have him in my party ;)

Will only his advices also make you evil? Am currently neutral good and would like to walk the path of benevolence. So I think I just won't talk to the book...
