I think i saw that there is an Anarchist cult in the game. I've picked the game back up after leaving it for a few months. I might start anew. I was pretty lame about completing side quests and I don't like the backlog. Is there anything I should do if I want to join them in my Char build?

Also I did a high Wisdom/Intelligence character. But I was thinking I will probably beat this game twice. Wouldn't it make sense to choose a Warrior type of character and to just go through the game like that? Then on the second play through I would see all the extra ways things are handled without combat.

I left off at the Sensate temple area with the 3 professors giving lectures on Death, Planes, and Blood War. Oh, I wanted to say I recently beat Baldur's Gate 1 for the first time. Played the second for 15 hours or so and I my ADHD lead me back to PS:T because I saw the Githzerai Dak'kon's weapon for sale in a exotic weapon shop. Its extremely expensive and seems badass.
The Anarchists can only be joined if you didn't get any of them angry and have never openly spoken against their beliefs. It's entirely possible to get perma-banned from the faction very early in the game without even realizing what happened.

Anyway, the person who can get you into the faction is Bedai-Lihn, who is in the Foundry, so you have to join the Godsmen first, find her and tell her you don't like being a Godsman now because it's an empty title. Then just keep doing their quests until they accept you. Note that those are mostly chaotic evil actions, and the Anarchists are pretty paranoid, so if you do anything wrong, they'll ban you and all of your efforts will be wasted. No stat checks, but, depending on your previous actions you may not be able to join at all.

Anarchist_Peasant: I saw the Githzerai Dak'kon's weapon for sale in a exotic weapon shop. Its extremely expensive and seems badass.
It's a very special weapon whose existence is tied to Dak'kon. It shouldn't be possible to separate if from him so BGII goes against canon. (And the BGII version is a pale shadow of what it could be in PS:T)
That merchant isn't supposed to be canon. It's just an easter egg so you can get some weapons from Planescape and Icewind Dale.
Yeah, I'm still at a point where its 30k+ price tag is waaay out of my range. Right now I'm doing at the end of the Cult of the Eyeless side quest. I really want to get that weapon before i beat it tho.
as to making a warrior vs a high wisdom, intelligence,

Usually the best way to make a warrior IS to have a high wisdom intelligence character. Since you gain stats by leveling up, the faster you level up, the more stats you can gain. High wisdom and intelligence (for extra exp and quests exp) thus logically level you up faster.

There are only a couple grinding spots in the game so "as a warrior" you won't have as fast level gain as you would by having high wisdom and intelligence scores, and those level ups will let you boost your strength and dex, etc later to make you a better warrior.

Also, the best warrior in the game... is a thief. Your character will want to take warrior bonus's on his 7/12? levels for extra attack ability, and once you have those you'll go thief for the rest of the game. Why? Because the thief has extremely fast leveling compared to warriors and wizards later, and each level up you gain stat, thus pumping up your strength, dex to much higher levels than if you were a warrior.

So, you can play any class you want of course any way you want, but you can see.. i have this nice warrior character with great strength and endurance who can kick butt! Or you can have this nice warrior thief mage whatever, who has very high wisdom and intelligence, who has many more levels and thus the same strength and endurance as my regular warrior character, who can also use thief skills, has more health and stats, and well, yea lots better than my warrior now that i think about it.
If you want the perfect warrior take 13 instead of 12 fighter levels to get the last extra half attack per round.

Wisdom is also a combat stat, the luck bonus lets you do more and receive less damage. Int is unimportant.
