For some reason, the tilt key makes the ball fully controllable by the arrow keys... I wonder if it's a bug on DosBox side or some sort of a debug mode :-D

Btw, I have set the keys manually wheres 'T' is used for tilt...

Edit : It also happens after clean install and while using the default keys...

Kind of unrelated but Epic Pinball had this debug mode too. Wonder if the developers were the same. Or programmers worked at diff companies but on same projects?
