Hi guys, check this out:

Obsidian is already on it.
Appartenly when you swap out items in your inventory by doulbe-clicking it will break some of your characters abilities.
This happened at least to my main char and i kept wondering why he is such a dork.
Now i know why ...
Yup, same thing happened to me. I've shelved the game until they get this fixed.
Lol you have shelved the game because the double click does not work, had you considered drag and drop another standard? I think you are cutting your nose off to spite your face, you are missing out on a great game for no reason lol.

Except it's riddled with bugs at the moment.

This, Aloth's grimoire vanishing, summoned pets not despawning after combat ends, permanent bonded grief and other debuffs not going away.

It's a great game but cannot be played as intended at the moment.
I had zero bugs up to now. Good thing I always drag and drop anyways. ;)
Same with me M4xw0LF no bugs at all, the game plays great, I think people actually going looking for bugs and end up reporting things that are not bugs at all.

Sorry but you must be at least very ignorant to make such a post.
You accuse people of reporting non-bugs, when those very same bugs are confirmed by the developers!?
Insulting!

I also put the game aside because of this and will wait for a patch that fixes the worse of the bugs.
Have you ever considered that people like me might have used double click before and kept on playing, only realising later on that something was odd?
Or that people didn't notice right away that their buffs were stuck to a character permanently?
Of course it is easy to use drag and drop if you know about the bug i posted in the OP, but what if you didn't know about it?
I bet some of you had some of the bugs and just didn't notice it.

Why would i continute playing a bugged savegame with the possibility of even more bugs when i can just wait for the patch that will come soon enough and have a much better experience?

I think you misunderstand me, my second comment was not about what you have said, yes this is a bug but personally I wouldn't stop playing as soon as I knew how to overcome it, perhaps I should have been clearer.

What I was talking about is reading through forums today and people are moaning about what they consider to be bugs that are clearly game mechanics that they actually think are unfair while some of us consider it a challenge, this was not aimed at the issue you raised.

As I have said I have found no bugs at all as have many others, if you feel that drag and drop as a way of overcoming this problem is not for you then fair enough.
Some more bugs that on their own would prevent me from continuing to play:

Ever wonder why the game is so easy and your Eder dominates everything?

Overview:

Go check your characters stats and see if they are what they should be.
If you save often like me, and sometimes only play for 1 hour or 2 and then take a break your character's stats might be terribly broken.

I think you have made your point, but I will carry on enjoying my play time.

I have not experienced any of the bugs you are reporting and I have played more or less constantly since release, but you know how it is, some people get bugs that others don't even on identical systems, this is the nature of gaming after all.

If I have pissed you off then apologies, I hope you get to play soon.

Don't forget the bug that prevents Ciphers from gaining focus if they equip certain amulets (even if the item is removed later). Or the bug which suppresses class-defining rogue talents (which is related to the overall stats bug, I think?).

Yeah, PoE is just a mess at present.

edit:
Oh, forgot a couple. There is also a bug that seems to randomly delete items from party members' inventories. Also, a minor bug which overwrites older explorer (forgetting his name) pages with more recent ones if put into the stash (possibly a stacking issue).

Yeah, fun times. :/

Many of these bugs can be reproduced.
If you saved the game in gilded vale and loaded it again, it is almost 100% guaranteed that you messed up eders stats.
Same goes for starting locations of other npcs.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game, but denying that it indeed turned out to be insanely brokem due to bugs is just denying reality.
It's not just some small bugs, it's major flaws in how the game itself works.
I'm glad the patch comes next week.
I have stopped playing to wait for the patch, because I play in iron man mode and encountering such a bug would mean having to restart.

Besides this double-click bug and the stats increase bug, there are several other nasty bugs discovered recently:

- Aloth simply disappearing from party when changing maps
- NPCs objects from inventory disappear when leaving and recruiting them again
- Adding notes with similar icons in stash make them stack, and when unstacking, all of them become identical
- Shops prices messes up when increasing reputation (probably related to locale settings)

It certainly it is not playable as intended now, and especially not on Throne of Iron mode, so waiting for at least the next patch.

No problems here, I made a point of checking all party members constantly while playing last night and everything was fine, no over or under performance, no disappearing buffs and talents, no stats messing up, no gearing disappearing, no vendor bugs all prices remaining the same bar reputation changes etc etc.

You can believe me or not I'm not really bothered but I am simply not getting these bugs, I'm not saying they don't exist because clearly they do for you, I have checked and checked again regarding Eder and there is no issue.
