Man they released a patch without hotfix. Sorry for breaking your hopes. But its too soon to celebrate. ITs only half of a patch.

Wanna talk about Linux and OS X versions of the patch? ;)

I think the only thing to say about them is that they take longer around here (if you don't already know that). Also, I seriously doubt that badgering GOG about them speeds the process.

Apologies for asking when an update might be available for the thing I bought with money.

Unfortunately my game became broken on Sunday, so I was genuinely curious as to when I might be able to play again.

I did not realize this would be considered "hating" & "badgering."

I wasn't talking to you (obviously). I did not say anything about hating. What flew up your but? Have you got a guilty conscience about something?
I'm really happy that my Cipher can gain focus again. So thanks for the extre effort, GoG-team :)

My Cipher seemed fine before the patch. Oh well.

Yeah I know, actually I was a bit sarcastic ;)
I *absolutely* don’t care that these updates are a bit delayed, as long as they’re coming. That’s the price to pay for a real service including QA, unlike some other distribution platform I won’t name.

Sorry, I don't understand your post. I was asking if there was any communication from GoG, especially regarding an OS X patch. Thanks for the help though.
Anyone new to GOG should know that when patches come out on Steam, then no, GOG will not tell you they are working on it, but yes, they are working on it. The Windows version will come out a day or two or three later depending. The mac and Linux versions will come out some days after that (I'm not a user, so I haven't paid too close attention to what would be a good estimate - if you want to get a sense of it, go to the DDOS and Wasteland2 threads). And again, no, they do not typically announce that they are working on mac/Linux, but yes, they are working on it.
Everyone's aware that the patch is made available when the devs release it, right? GOG just SELLS the games, they don't support the current titles. That's the job of the developer/publisher. If you want to know why the Mac/Linux patches aren't done yet, ask them. I'm waiting on the Mac patch myself.

Actually the Mac/Linux patches are done, and 1.0.3 is available on Steam for all platforms. On GOG it's a repackaging issue - at least for Mac I think they repackage the whole game patched instead of releasing a separate patcher. I only hope that they'll release the latest version available (1.0.3.526) and not the version they just released for Win, so we don't have to download 7 Gb of data several times in the space of just a couple of days.

Correction, it's only 99.9999999999999999999999% of a patch.

I can live with those proportions.
